Louisiana Museum of Modern Art
It could’ve been a substack, a medium post, a newsletter, but unsurprisingly I got distracted and have settled for my own website. I thought I’d start to share my meandering thoughts about others art, my art, and places where you find art.
The other week I went on a mini scandi tour, and having recently persuaded several people to visit the Louisiana Museum of Art, and finding my brother not completely resistent to the idea, I went back for the first time since 2008.
My first trip to Copenhagen and the Louisiana Museum of Art was part of a field trip during my second year of university while I was studying Landscape Architecture and Planning at Sheffield. It was a fantastic trip, one that made me truly appreciate landscape design in all its forms. As someone who often feels directionless in life despite my career, wandering around good sculpture parks, playing with the art, enjoying the nature and situation of the buildings, they’re places that seemingly best represent the inflection point of all my loves and public art (for want of a slightly more inspiring term) is probably the theme that carriers through my professional and artistic life.
