With ~15 years experience in small business and charity management, I’m a highly experienced creative and commercially minded leader. Having worked across built environment, creative, and heritage industries as well as organisations with a focus on sustainability and equality, I want to continue prioritising high impact projects. My expertise comes from making the most of under-resourced organisations, whether it’s developing business plans, or strategies in operations, marketing, and fundraising. Most recently I have held leadership roles at Open City, an organisation best known for the Open House Festival, where I served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and later Interim CEO, contributing to the promotion of architecture and urban design through community events and education programmes.
I can help you work out what you need and how to implement it with the resources you have.
I have a particular interest in working with clients interested in changing the housing system. For example, I’m currently working with organisations supporting those experiencing homelessness, whether providing support on fundraising (grant writing, pitching, strategy), and business and operations support (developing business plans and impact reports, undertaking charity applications, review of operations). I have interest in developing and consolidating this range of work further with policy professionals, architects, developers - those with a shared vision.
